My inner (and outer) pastel princess has been out in full swing this month! I feel like I look like I’m sponsored by Dolly Mix, but I’m pretty okay with that.
I’ve added a few key pieces to my wardrobe including my gorgeous unicorn dress and mint skirt from Sugarhill Boutique. They are one of my favourite clothing brands, with beautiful hand-designed prints and the loveliest high-quality fabrics. The best bit is that they’re based in Brighton, so I’m lucky enough to be very close to their only outlet store, where the prices are unbelievably good. Make sure to pop in if you’re visiting!
My coat from last year was far too big (yay) so I also treated myself to a lovely shearling jacket from New Look. I love the soft taupe shade, and it’s lined all the way through which makes it super warm and cosy.
I’ve been lusting after a pair of ridiculously 90s ‘Mom Jeans’ since it got too cold to wear my high waisted shorts, so I finally ordered some from Boohoo. I was tempted to get my craft on and embellish them with faux pearls (copying these ASOS ones but for a fraction of the price, basically) but I quite like them as they are. Maybe I’ll do it in a month or two when I want a change!
I’d seriously recommend popping into Primark if you’re a fan of cute patterned shirts, because they’ve got some gorgeous ones at the moment. My lilac polka dot shirt was just £7, but next on my list is definitely a black and white bumble bee patterned one I saw but (regrettably) didn’t buy.
Shoe-wise I’ve been pretty much living in my black shearling (I love a faux fur trim, if you hadn’t noticed!) boots, again from New Look. I’ve had to weather-proof them with fluffy insoles, but they are perfect for keeping my feet nice and toasty! I did opt for a pair of mint green Primark plimsolls on one of the warmer days, but they’ve now been put away again until next summer. ?
And, of course, my beautiful Cambridge Satchel Company cloud bag has been making an appearance. I’m obsessed!
What key pieces have you been loving this Autumn?
