So we may not have found our new flat just yet, but there’s no harm in making homeware wishlists anyway, right?! For the living room, I want the vibe to be kind of cool-meets-cosy with plenty of cute pastels (would you expect anything else from me?) and mixed metals, adding texture with throws and cushions in a variety of fabrics. My living room wishlist includes cheaper and mid-range options, proving that you don’t have to break the bank to create a beautiful home.
I’ve already bought the sofa, armchair & coffee table ready for when we move in, and the rug & Paris wall art came with us when we moved out of our old flat – I still love them, and want them to be an integral part of our new living room. It will really make it feel like home!
Flathunting can be a little stressful, but aside from hoping to be moved by my birthday (15th April if you’d like to make a mental note!), we aren’t in any hurry, and want to find something we both love. I’m planning to post a series of moodboards for different rooms of the flat, and hopefully it won’t be long before I can do an actual real-life tour!
